What Is Included in the Ford 100,000-Mile Service?

When you bring your Ford in for this service, our technicians will:

• Drain the engine oil and remove the filter, replacing them with up to 6 quarts of new oil and an OEM oil filter. This keeps the engine clean and lubricated, extending its lifespan.
• Replace the cabin air filter, ensuring that you have clean air and an HVAC system that works at its best.
• Inspect the accessory drive belt or belts, making sure that there are no signs of cracking or excessive wear.
• Spark plug replacement may be needed but is an additional cost, not included in the 100,000-mile service.
• Drain and replace the coolant fluid, keeping your engine from overheating. As part of this service, they will also inspect the entire cooling system, which includes checking the hoses to ensure that there are no leaks.
• Rotate the tires to ensure even wear and greater longevity. They will also inspect the tire tread depth and tire pressure to make sure that you're safe as you drive.
• Inspect the half-shaft boots to ensure that there is no oil leakage.
• Inspect the exhaust system and the heat shields, checking for any signs of exhaust leaks or other problems.
• Inspect the steering linkage, the ball joints, and various suspension components. If these are equipped with grease fittings, they will lubricate them.
• If your Ford has an automatic transmission with a dipstick, they will check the automatic transmission fluid level.
• Inspect the wheels and all the related components. When they perform this service, they will look for any unusual noises, any signs of excessive wear, and any other indication that the wheels may not be sitting right.
• Inspect the entire braking system. This includes making sure the brake pad lining has sufficient depth, making sure the rotors are smooth and thick, inspecting the brake hoses and parking brake, and checking the drums and shoes if your Ford has rear drum brakes.
